Peter turns 51 this year. He holds both German and South African citizenship, and has been sailing for
nearly 30 years in Europe, the Mediterranean, Africa and the Caribbean. He has skippered numerous yacht deliveries in Europe and
Transatlantic, ran fishing charters in Mozambique, and for the past two years has been the captain of a charter catamaran with a busy
schedule in the Virgin Islands, St Martin and the Grenadines.
In the late 70's Pete formed a salvage diving operation operating along the South African coast, and also built ski boats to order. He was a
director and shareholder of a company manufacturing food-processing equipment, then purchased/managed a Game Farm and also started
various other manufacturing businesses in Zimbabwe, all of which were acquired by the government in 2002 without any compensation to
him.
Peter then briefly ran fishing and pleasure charters and a Bed and Breakfast for tourists in Mozambique before his love of the sea prompted
him to sail to the Caribbean and work as a charter captain. He is a qualified Radio and Radar Technician, an RYA Yacht Master with Ocean
endorsement, is STCW95 certified, and is a PADI Dive Instructor. He particularly enjoys sailing, fishing, diving and target shooting.

Colleen Colleen holds dual citizenship in Zimbabwe and South Africa. She worked in the travel industry for
many years, and met Peter when he rented a car from her while she was employed by Avis. They have been a couple ever since and she
has worked alongside Peter in all of his varied business ventures. She holds a Competent Crew certificate, has accompanied Peter on many
of his yacht deliveries, and cooked on the charter yachts that he's operated. She particularly enjoys decorating, cooking, entertaining and
the outdoors, and has her STCW95 and open water diving certifications.
Peter and Colleen are a delightful couple that come to Fantasy Island highly recommended. We have no doubt that they will continue the
tradition of hospitality, fine food and five-star service for which Fantasy Island has become known for. While they prefer to work alone as a
team, they will employ a third crewmember as needed.
